Hey there, I’m Ashley, a New Jersey based photographer specializing in lifestyle, elopement, and intimate wedding photography. 

I truly believe that there’s no right way or right time to tell your story. Our stories are not linear and rarely follow a prescribed trajectory. You don’t stop creating memories after your engagement, your wedding day, or your first born. So when it comes to documenting your life, why pause there?

Our stories are built from a fabric of moments woven together by one common thread, you. The richness of your story only continues to expand as you learn, grow, and the years pass - creating a life full of love, lessons, and stories worth telling.

How can you have BOTH?

I aim to be unobtrusive, documenting your story with objectivity and honesty. I also recognize that my presence as a photographer has influence and cannot be fully extracted from the moment that’s developing.

So instead of trying my best to disappear or become a fly on the wall, I choose to be intentional and thoughtful with how I interact with you. I do this by acting as a gentle guide offering support when needed, while also being as discreet as possible so that your moments remain yours.

I enjoy collaborating and will carefully lead you through your entire session from start to finish in a way that feels tailored to you. Think of me as more of a friend who is joining you in these moments we are about to document.

My hope is that any prompting I provide feels both purposeful and non-disruptive to your true experience and instead only helps to highlight the beauty of your story as it unfolds.

what you can EXPECT

I mean it when I say, I want your photos to last a lifetime. Therefore, I approach each session as if I am travelling back in time to preserve a precious memory for you and your loved ones to enjoy for generations. My hope is — one day you gaze fondly upon your photographs and happily reminisce.

Personal.

I understand that being photographed can be both strange and uncomfortable for some. I take personalized and client-led approach to all my sessions. This means, I will never force a smile, fake a moment, or rush an embrace. I respect your boundaries and my priority will always be your comfort.

Imperfect.

I lead each session with a documentary approach, aiming to capture you as you truly are. Let’s face it; life is messy. So let’s embrace the messiness together because its far more honest and much more interesting. With that being said, I invite you to come as you are, perfectly imperfect.
